Dr. Abhrajit Chatterjee is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with more than a decade of experience and a keen interest in retina and phacoemulsification cataract surgery. He practises at Alokon Eye Care clinic in Lake Town, Kolkata.   

Dr. Chatterjee obtained the MBBS degree from Calcutta Medical College in 1986. Choosing to specialise as an Eye Surgeon, he augmented his basic medical qualification by completing a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology in 1988 and obtaining the MS (Ophthalmology) postgraduate degree from Calcutta University in 1991.

Apart from his practice at Alokon Eye Care, Dr. Abhrajit Chatterjee is attached to many charitable organisations, attending to OPD patients and performing free eye surgeries. He is a Consultant to the Lokeswarananda Eye Foundation, which is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to eye care for the rural people of Purulia, West Midnapore and Bankura districts in West Bengal.

Dr. Abhrajit Chatterjee approaches his profession with sincerity, acumen, hard work and professionalism, and enjoys good relations with his patients. He is committed to excellence and has a special interest in research activities as well. His hobbies include photography, intellectual discussion, travelling, watching movies and cricket.
